The mission team also visited on Day 3, Casuga Agro-Innovations, Inc. (CAI)—a Davao City-based agribusiness and dairy processor, and an Equity Fund Investee of the Small Business Corporation (SBCorp) through the DTI RAPID Growth Project.

Located in Barangay Malagos, Calinan, Davao City, CAI is engaged in dairy farming, milk processing, and value-added product development. From chocolate/tablea milk to pasteurized fresh cow’s milk, the company takes pride in using locally sourced ingredients from their own farms and partner farmers in the community.

During their visit to Casuga Integrated School, the mission team had the opportunity to hear directly from Ms. Cherrylin Casuga, President & CEO of CAI. She shared how the equity fund supported the expansion of their operations, including the acquisition of milk pasteurization and sterilization equipment—investments that have steadily translated into increased production, improved product quality, and consistent sales growth.

With strengthened capacities, CAI is now expanding its reach even further. The company currently supplies milk to children through feeding and nutrition programs of government agencies such as the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The growth of Casuga Agro-Innovations, Inc. reflects what is possible when the right support meets the right vision—demonstrating how MSMEs can scale their operations while creating meaningful impact for local farming communities.
