Cotabato City, BARMM — On June 17, 2026, two Farmers’ Organizations received a total of 33 sacks of urea fertilizer from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR). Darusalam High Value Crop Producer Cooperative was allocated 8 sacks, while Kauran Christian Upland Farmers’ Agriculture Cooperative received 25 sacks.

This intervention, endorsed by the RAPID-BARMM Project Implementation Unit (PIU), complements the coffee seedlings earlier distributed under the Matching Grant Fund. The fertilizer support is expected to enhance the growth and productivity of the coffee trees, ensuring healthier yields and strengthening the cooperatives’ participation in the coffee value chain.

By providing both planting materials and essential farm inputs, the initiative underscores BARMM’s commitment to empowering local farmers and sustaining agribusiness development in the region.
