RAPID BARMM with Community Partner and NPCO
After the successful approval of Maguindanao DIP Coffee through verbal approval during the Final Technical Review in August 2023, The RAPIPD Growth Project in BARMM conducted an implementation planning workshop for DIP Coffee held on 30-31 August 2023 in Dusit Thani Residence Davao, Davao City.
The DIP Implementation Planning Workshop was participated by the DIP Maguindanao Coffee Value Chain players from MSMEs, FOs to Anchor Firm, as well as the MTIT Organic and Project Staff, and the NPCO with the presence of Mr. Romy Castañaga, Assistant Regional Director, and Ms. Mae Ester T. Guiamadel, Project Manager of the RAPID Growth Project National.
PM. Guiamadel highlighted that the DIP is a great milestone for BARMM to advance the coffee industry in the province of Maguindanao. She also expressed her full support for the successful implementation of the project in BARMM.
During the Planning Workshop, the community partners were grouped according to their organization and business lane to develop their implementation plan based on the DIP support activities both on and off-farm
The developed DIP Implementation Plan will be a guiding tool to the project implementing unit to deliver the goal of the Project and contribute to uplifting the status of coffee farmers in Maguindanao provinces.
