The DTI RAPID Growth Project held the Orientation of Enumerators for the 2024 Annual Outcome Survey (AOS) at World Palace Hotel, Davao City, last May 19 to 22, 2025. This activity ensures that enumerators are well-prepared to collect accurate and meaningful data from the field.
The Annual Outcome Survey (AOS) forms a key component of the project’s Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)framework. It is designed to generate both quantitative and qualitative data that reflect the project’s progress in implementing activities and achieving its targeted outputs and outcomes.
Participants in the orientation include Regional M&E and Knowledge Management Coordinators, Provincial M&E Assistants, and Provincial AOS Enumerators from the seven regions covered by the project. The sessions are facilitated by AOS consultants from EMS Management Systems Consulting Services.
In his opening message, RAPID Growth Deputy Project Director RD Romeo Castañaga highlighted the importance of the orientation in ensuring that both M&E staff and enumerators are aligned in their understanding and communication of project-related technical terms to the community. He also encouraged the enumerators to uphold the highest standards of integrity throughout the data collection process.
The three-day orientation aims to establish a shared understanding of the survey objectives among participants and to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively use the data collection tools and methods. This ensures that the data gathering process is appropriate, efficient, and accurate.
